A Day at the Beach: Corvettes to Take Over Ocean City Boardwalk on Sunday September 7th

OCNJ Local- Corvette show

Get ready for an incredible display of American automotive history this Sunday, September 7th, as over 500 Corvettes descend upon the Ocean City Boardwalk for the annual “A Day at the Beach Corvette Style” show. Organized and presented by the Boardwalk Corvettes Club, this event is one of the largest and most celebrated of its kind on the East Coast. From 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the boardwalk from 6th Street to 14th Street will become a stunning exhibition of classic and modern Corvettes. Enthusiasts can admire models from nearly every year the legendary sports car has been manufactured, from the iconic early C1s to the latest C8s. The show offers a unique opportunity to see these powerful machines up close, all set against the backdrop of the iconic Ocean City Boardwalk.

The day begins bright and early with a “Show and Shine” that allows for both formal and informal judging. Beyond the trophies, the club also gives out “Fun Awards” that add a lighthearted touch to the day. The official trophy presentation will take place at 3:30 p.m., just before the show concludes.

While the event is a paradise for car lovers, its mission extends far beyond the beautiful vehicles on display. The Boardwalk Corvettes Club is a dedicated non-profit organization that raises a significant portion of its funds from this annual show to support local charities. Over the years, the club has made substantial contributions to organizations such as the Ocean City Ecumenical Food Cupboard, the Humane Society of Ocean City, and Toys for Tots. When you attend the show, you’re not just enjoying a day of great cars; you’re also helping a community in need.

This Sunday’s show is set to be a spectacular event, rain or shine, and promises to be an unforgettable experience for both attendees and participants.
