The gentle hum of summer is already building in Ocean City, and with it comes the exciting news that a beloved local tradition is gearing up for another spectacular year. Registration is officially open for the 115th Annual Baby Parade!

This iconic event, a cherished part of Ocean City’s heritage, invites families to showcase their little ones in a grand procession along our famous boardwalk. It’s a vibrant celebration of childhood, creativity, and community spirit, with families often spending weeks crafting unique costumes and themed floats that range from whimsical and fantastical to classic and charming.

All families with children ages 10 and under are invited to participate. Whether you’re a proud new parent eager to show off your bundle of joy or you have a seasoned parade-goer ready to strut their stuff, there’s a place for every child.  The parade is a non-competitive event, focusing purely on participation and fun. Beyond the little ones, Bands, performing groups, and commercial floats are also strongly encouraged to join in the fun.

The 115th Annual Baby Parade is set to begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025. This mid-August date is perfect for capturing the last glorious days of summer fun in Ocean City.
