Team Fastrax Soars Above the Ocean City Boardwalk with Dazzling Pyrotechnic Show

Ocean City’s Air Show Weekend is set to offer a breathtaking conclusion to its opening day on Saturday, September 13, with a spectacular Parachute Pyrotechnic Show. As darkness falls over the Jersey Shore, the sky above Ocean City’s beach and boardwalk will become a canvas for a dazzling aerial display courtesy of Team Fastrax, “America’s Skydiving Team.”

The show, scheduled for 8 p.m., will feature several highly trained and specially licensed Team Fastrax parachuters exiting an aircraft at 6,000 feet. As they descend in formation, they will ignite brilliant white or multi-colored projectile pyrotechnics, creating a mesmerizing spectacle of light and motion for spectators on the ground. The jump will conclude with a precise landing on the Seventh Street Beach, with the entire performance visible from anywhere along the Boardwalk.

The team behind this incredible show is Team Fastrax, based out of Middletown, Ohio. Established in 2002, Team Fastrax has grown to become one of the most respected and ambitious professional parachute demonstration teams in the world. Their roster boasts over 40 active members, many of whom are veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. With a collective total of more than 175,000 skydives, their experience is unmatched. They are renowned for their high-profile jumps, having performed over iconic locations such as Ground Zero on 9/11, the Pentagon, and the Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor.

Beyond their thrilling aerial performances, Team Fastrax is also deeply committed to a cause close to their hearts. The team is dedicated to supporting the Blue Skies for the Good Guys and Gals Warrior Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides life-enriching experiences and support for combat-injured warriors and the families of fallen heroes, known as Gold Star Families. Their annual “Warrior Weekend to Remember” is a major event that brings new combat-injured warriors and Gold Star families into the Blue Skies family, offering them a weekend of healing and community. Through their jumps and public appearances, Team Fastrax uses its platform to raise awareness and support for these American heroes and their families.
