J Bradley Capital Wins Prestigious New Construction Award for Ocean City Office
J Bradley Capital, a local financial planning firm, is celebrating taking home the New Construction award from the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce for its stunning new office space downtown. The award recognizes excellence in recently completed construction projects, highlighting the firm’s beautiful new location at 14th and Asbury, and its commitment to the community.
Dan Koch, the owner of J Bradley Capital, founded the company in 2012 after spending years refining his expertise at large banks. Before settling in Ocean City, Koch lived in Margate for 20 years. The firm’s new headquarters has quickly become a standout structure downtown. The building was constructed by Achristavest Builders and acquired by Duncan Homes.
For Koch, the move to Ocean City was a natural fit. He loves the small-town feel of the community, especially the vibrant atmosphere of Asbury Avenue during the off-season. He is grateful to have found brand-new office space that enabled the firm to become a fixture in downtown.
J Bradley Capital’s new office space is much more than just a place to work; it’s a testament to Koch’s vision for a welcoming environment. “What I love most about the office space is the atmosphere where clients can receive guidance and create a plan for what lies ahead for them. It lends itself more to conversation and learning more about what is important to each client,” Koch notes.
While dedicated to guiding clients through complex financial matters, Koch emphasizes maintaining a small-firm environment and a family atmosphere.
“We want people in the community to stop in for good advice and maybe a second opinion on the things that they are currently doing with their finances,” he says.
This focus on family is personal for Koch. His “pride and joy” are his two teenage daughters: Julia, a freshman at ACHS, and Layla, a sixth grader. When he’s not around the office, Koch spends time with them, teaching them about the “finer things like fishing and good vinyl records.” Koch is also a music enthusiast, playing and collecting guitars himself.
Looking ahead, Koch’s main message to the public is one of reliability: “All signs are pointing to some rough seas ahead in the markets. We want to be a trusted advisor to guide our clients through.”
