Ocean City Celebrates Holiday Spirit with Annual Decorating Contest Winners
The holiday season is shining brightly in “America’s Greatest Family Resort,” as Ocean City announced the winners of its highly anticipated 2025 Holiday House Decorating Contest. The contest brought together 16 festive entries, showcasing the community’s creativity and holiday spirit.
The Torres home at 2 Waterway Road took top honors in public voting, clinching the coveted People’s Choice Award. The display garnered an impressive 367 likes on Facebook from residents and visitors alike.
The Torres family’s winning display was described as a classic, family-friendly holiday wonderland, drawing inspiration from beloved Christmas characters and a nostalgic charm. “The bright candy-cane accents, sparkling trees and glowing Santa create a joyful, welcoming display that reflects the warm spirit of Ocean City, New Jersey,” according to the city’s contest description.
While the People’s Choice Award highlighted the community’s favorite, the contest also recognized homes across various categories, judged on creativity, special effects, lighting, theme, and overall appearance.
