 Pete Madden, a longtime resident, local business owner, and current City Councilman, officially announced his candidacy for Mayor of Ocean City this Thursday, February 26th. Madden’s campaign centers on a vision of steady, transparent leadership and a commitment to moving the community forward through accountability and clear communication.

A resident of Ocean City for over twenty years, Madden has built a reputation through his professional work as the broker and owner of Goldcoast Sotheby’s International Realty and his extensive public service. He raised his four children, Riley, Arvyn, Brynn, and Carter, in the community.

Madden’s platform emphasizes the importance of leadership that prioritizes listening and bringing people together rather than fostering division.
