Spring Fever Hits the Shore: A Guide to Ocean City’s Action-Packed Weekend for April 11th and 12th
Spring is in full bloom, and Ocean City is gearing up for one of its busiest weekends. From the capes and cowls at the Music Pier to the high fashion at the Yacht Club, there’s something for everyone from April 10 to 12.

OC CON Comic Book & Memorabilia Festival
When: Saturday, April 11 (10 a.m. – 5 p.m.) & Sunday, April 12 (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
Where: Ocean City Music Pier (Boardwalk & Moorlyn Terrace)
Admission: Free
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, OC CON continues to be the premier destination for pop culture and superhero fans. The Music Pier will be transformed into a gathering place for collectors and creators alike.
- Meet the Pros: Featured artists like Tony DiGerolamo (Sunday only), Bob Petrecca, and Luke Petrecca will be on hand.
- Photo Ops: Look for the iconic DeLorean time machine and the Pizza Planet Delivery Shuttle.
- For the Kids (and Kids at Heart): Enjoy LEGO trivia, face painting, and a high-energy Cosplay Contest.
The Super Hero Run: Kick off Saturday morning with the 1-mile Super Hero Run at 9 a.m. on the Boardwalk. Registration opens at 8 a.m. at the Music Pier, or you can sign up early at ocnj.us/race-events.

Girls Weekend & Downtown Fashion Show
When: Friday, April 10 – Sunday, April 12
Where: Various Downtown Locations & Ocean City Yacht Club
Girls Weekend is the perfect excuse to explore the shops and restaurants along Asbury Avenue. The festivities officially begin Friday night with the annual Fashion Show at the Ocean City Yacht Club (7 p.m.).
- The Show: Local models will showcase the latest spring and summer lines from downtown boutiques. Tickets are $40 and available at oceancityvacation.com/boxoffice.
- Deals & Steals: Throughout the weekend, expect exclusive dining offers, shopping discounts, and hotel packages.
- Wellness & Fun: Keep an eye out for yoga classes, craft demonstrations, and wellness projects popping up across the city.
Clean Ocean Action Beach Sweep
When: Saturday, April 11 (9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)
Where: Check-in at the Music Pier
If you want to enjoy the fresh salt air while making a difference, join the semi-annual Beach Sweep. This event is a great way to keep our coastline pristine as we head toward the summer season.
- What to Bring: Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own buckets and gloves.

Parking Note
To make your visit easier, the city is providing free parking at municipal lots adjacent to the Boardwalk at Moorlyn Terrace, 8th Street, and 9th Street.
