Dear Friends:

As the municipal election on May 12th approaches, I want to take this opportunity to thank the community for the support, kindness and encouragement you have provided me during this campaign.  I have been humbled, and somewhat overwhelmed, by the enthusiastic and positive support my campaign committee and I have received.

I chose to seek reelection because I am proud of what we have accomplished together to keep Ocean City moving forward.   I am committed more than ever to keep building on that success.

Looking ahead, I intend to continue to aggressively address our most pressing infrastructure needs, including roads and drainage, beach and dune maintenance, back bay dredging and protection and improvements of our parks, recreation areas and open space.  I also remain dedicated to enhancing recreation opportunities from our fields and facilities to concerts and special events.  Our Senior Center will continue to flourish and be enjoyed by record numbers of participants.

Thanks to responsible and professional management, we have improved Ocean City enabling property values to grow dramatically while maintaining a stable and reasonable tax rate, a record high fund balance, and a strong Double A bond rating.  Reviews of our financial management and debt service by national rating agencies have been consistently strong.

Most importantly, I will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that Ocean City remains safe, clean and with a quality of life that is the envy of the region.
